The Brilliance of Your Light: You Are a Star!
Beloved One, this season, we stand in a perpetual sacred moment: A SEASON OF LIGHT. The holidays, the candles, the Christmas lights, the stories—this season points to something far more intimate: YOUR OWN RADIANT IDENTITY. You are not merely someone who observes the Light. You are the Light. You are a star.
During this time of year, humanity gathers around symbols of illumination that come from many traditions.
In the Christian tradition, Christmas is the celebration of the birth of the Christ Light into the world, exemplified by Jesus the Christ, who demonstrated what it looks like when divine luminosity fully awakens in a human being. He came to remind us that this same light, this same consciousness, dwells within every soul.
In the Jewish tradition of Hanukkah, we encounter the Festival of Lights, a reminder of a sacred oil that refused to burn out. It’s a sacred metaphor for the eternal flame within you, the spark that cannot be extinguished by circumstance, challenge, or fear. Even when it seems you don’t have enough—enough strength, enough clarity, enough faith—Spirit says, “My Light in you does not go out.”
During Kwanzaa, the seven candles of the Kinara reflect seven qualities: unity, self-determination, collective work, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith. These are not just principles, they are ways of shining. They polish our character so our inner brilliance can be revealed in relationships, community, and action.
And in the Islamic mystical tradition, although there isn’t a December holiday, the symbolism of Light is profoundly spiritual. The Qur’an’s Verse of Light speaks of a lamp within a niche, a radiance that symbolizes divine guidance shining in the heart. It points to the Truth that illumination is not seasonal—it is perpetual.
Different cultures.
Different stories.
Different candles.
One message: YOU ARE MADE OF LIGHT.
Now listen closely: To truly know this, you must learn to star in your own movie. Notice where you may have handed over the starring role to someone else. Perhaps your parents, employers, siblings, friends, or even celebrities. Ask yourself: What quality must I grow, embody, or activate to reclaim my starring role? Perhaps courage. Perhaps clarity. Perhaps self-love. Perhaps creativity. Begin to see others in your life shifting into their rightful places, bit parts, supporting roles, not to overshadow you, but to assist you in revealing your brilliance. THEN VIBRATIONALLY STEP INTO YOU.
You are not looking for the fountain of youth. You are looking for the FOUNTAIN OF YOU—your own glowing luminosity, flowing from the depths of your being.
This brilliance is your true identity!
You are a shining star. Let the brilliance of your Light be seen, known, and felt. Let it shine. “You are the light of the world…” Matthew 5:14
