Sacred Service Saturday 2026
Join us June 20th for Agape's Annual Sacred Service Saturday, United We Serve, Together We Soar, as we serve all over our greater Los Angeles community and around the world through our Sacred Service Saturday “Satel-Lights”.
Whatever your interest–if it’s tending a community garden, working with animals, or supporting services for the unhoused and a whole lot more–there is a service opportunity for you to do it in community.
This is our annual opportunity to step beyond the walls of our sanctuary and express the heart of our spiritual practice through compassion in action, generosity, and service to our global family.
Not in Los Angeles? Become a Satel-Light — a radiant expression of service in your own community—and participate from wherever you are!
Our global community has joined from across the United States and around the world. Email SSSLights@AgapeLive.com to learn more and get connected!
Awaken the natural compassion of your heart and direct its energy into action!

Beloved Community,
You are joyfully invited to participate in Sacred Service Saturday, 29 years of Love in Action. Our theme this year is United We Serve, Together We Soar.
There is something extraordinary that happens when we stand shoulder to shoulder in sacred intention. As we stand together in Sacred Service, we soar in ways beyond our wildest imagination. We remember that service is not an obligation, it is a revelation. It reveals who we are. It reveals the boundless compassion wired into our being. It reveals the miracle of unity.
When we serve together, we develop a spiritual camaraderie that transcends personality. Hearts synchronize. Vision expands. Laughter becomes prayer in motion. In the field of shared generosity, separation dissolves and sacred fellowship is born.
Science now affirms what mystics have always known: loving service enhances our immune system, strengthens our vitality, and renews our joy. When we give from the heart, we are healed from the heart. Sacred Service becomes sacred circulation—divine energy moving through willing vessels. As we reach out to uplift others, we change the lives of those we encounter. A meal, a smile, a listening ear—each act becomes a doorway to dignity and hope. In serving, we are also transformed.
Research also reveals that when we gather in community to serve, stress is reduced, the heart is strengthened, and the brain releases life-affirming tonic chemicals that elevates mood and deepens connection. In shared service, feelings of isolation give way to belonging, and a profound sense of meaning arises that nourishes both mental and physical well-being. Together, we not only uplift others—we restore and renew ourselves.
On this 29th anniversary of Sacred Service Saturday, we are not simply volunteering, we are creating an unforgettable vibrational legacy. A legacy of unity. A legacy of compassion. A legacy that whispers to generations yet to come.
When we serve together, we soar. So come. Stand. Serve. Soar.
In Loving Service,
Michael B. Beckwith
Founder & Spiritual Director

Service … is love in action, love “made flesh”; service is
the body, the incarnation of love. Love is the impetus;
service the act, and creativity the result with many by-products.
